Default Random picture blackouts in PT12

After the years of struggling with AVE, and finally getting to some sort of stable system (see my specs in the signature), I thought I can call myself an expert in trouble shooting different types of AVE's bugs.

However I still have very annoying random blackouts both on the desktop video window and on my Aja LHi output.
This is really random and I can't reproduce it. I know it happens with only one track session (first test screening) and may happen after 10 minutes or after 40 minutes. The blackout is approx 5 sec long, after which the picture goes back to normal. It doesn't affect the sound.
I assume it has nothing to do with the Aja card and my projector, since the same behaviour I can view on my desktop video (command+9).
I always use DNxHD 36 for video. Always genlocked by GEN10 to Sync HD and Aja Ref input. Its a frame rate independent issue.
Anyone else experiences this?
I can't remember having this issue on PT11.3.2.

On your Aja Lhi card go into the software and make sure these boxes are checked off:
Pause On: Full Frame
Progressive Format : Use p Format

See if that helps

Yes, Marti I am aware of this setting, and its set correct.
As I said it appears also on my screen monitor, so it has nothing to do with the Aja card I am afraid.

Sorry, I misread. The desktop blackouts is another PT issue with the AVE.

But I've read in your other post that you had zero AVE issues for few weeks now.
And we seem to be on the same system. Did you mean except this blackouts?

I have seen this occasionally with Blackmagic cards in various versions of 12. Just drops to black for a second or so and then comes back.

Its very weird, yesterday I had no blackouts at all. Same session, same system, same me ;-)
I just can't figure out what it depends on....
