Video Tracks in LE
I am currently running ProTools LE 7.3 and last night I imported a quicktime into my session so I could start scoring to it and I noticed that when I zoomed in fairly close that the thumbnails in the video track had huge gaps in them. I tried using different track sizes to increase the number of visible thunbnails but it didn't do much for me. Do I have to buy the DV Tookit 2 in order for me to have seemless video thumbnails in a video track? It is critical that I see every frame so that when I add hits and things I can zoom in and line them up exactly where I want them.

Re: Video Tracks in LE
Hi Spartikus,
A quick way to do what you are trying to do would be to enable time-line insertion follows scrub in the preferences and open the new video window and scrub the track until the video window is showing the right bit, then letting go of the mouse, the timeline edit point is where you want it so you can snap audio regions to that point using which ever method you prefer. Make a marker at that location too so you don't have to find it again. Mike
