Is MicroLogic AV a good a good MDI program?
Since reading the post on Logic it seems most people are using the upper programs. I really don't have a need for 64 tracks but I would like something a little better for midi. Is MicroLogic AV a good choice? I noticed in the Sweatwater catalog it has unlimited midi tracks. Also with running Logic can you record on to the same hard drive as Pro Tools or do you need to keep them separate?

Micrologic is fine. Although it is somewhat limited compared to it's more full featured brothers, it is still more elegant for sequencing midi in than PT. You will however be limited to 16 bit audio in this version.
