Default Change horrible Pt 11 layout on Windows?

I got Pt 11 today. I used to watch a lot of videos where Pt is used on Mac and there it looks so smooth and now I opened it on my Pc ( windows 64 bit) and it looks like a 5 dollar program. It's absoulutely disturbing. There's one big window that's grey and the little windows ( mix and edit view ) are seperate windows.. I got a screenshot attached.

Can I change this somehow? When I open way cheaper programs like Ableton,Spotify or Maschine, hell even FL Studio looks better!

Is there any chance to make it look like a Mac Layout, smooth and fluid and not with the ugly windows frames?

The look and layout are the same in both Mac and Windows. Can you post a pic of what you saw on the Mac and maybe we can help you get yours to match.

I guess I just never noticed the layout cause the frames of IOS are so subtle, but in Windows they are so thick. And in IOS the FIle Edit Track etc Bar is implemented in the task bar and in windows it's a new window. Is there a way to make the windows frame a little bit less prominent,it takes quite a bit of place, too.

I just got up from a nap.

Why does this thread make me feel I shouldn't have bothered getting up?

You sound like a guy that is using Windows for the first time after being really used to a Mac. There are several ways to customize the way the windows look in Windows OS, but If you want the frames to go away and have much more layout features (even better than on a Mac), buy Skootch from Bob Naggy. Google it. Once you learn to use it correctly, you never go back.

I bought Skootch after reading your reply. I think it will make things a lot more organized. I need to learn it better but that shouldn't be anything difficult.

Skootch works brilliantly on PT11.
