Help with Licensing Error
I am about at my wit's end with trying to figure out what's wrong with my pro tools licensing.
I own an Akia EIE Pro, which came with Pro Tools Express (Akia Professional / M-Audio Edition). I have no problems opening that version of Pro Tools. The license shows up on my iLok, and is present on my Avid account. I recently purchased the "Avid Pro Tools 10 Student M-Powered Cross-Grade Mac/Win" for $99. I verified with identit-e that I am indeed a student, and they sent me an activation serial number to punch in so I can download the crossgrade software. The problem is I get an error message saying "There are no qualifying upgrade products on this iLok account. Please try another iLok account." I have attached an image of the error message. I do have Pro Tools Express, and as far as I know I am able to crossgrade it. What did I do wrong? Thanks! |

Re: Help with Licensing Error
You purchased an upgrade from M-Powered. But you don't own M-Powered, you own Express.
