Default Need help 'Bouncing to disc'

I have the Avid Pro Tools SE version and am having a lot of difficulty working out how to put my finished recorded product on to a disc. I can not see anywhere that says 'bounce to disc' or convert to cd. I have tried a few ways such as 'export audio - CD (WAV)' but it did not allow me to burn on to a disc.

Please help!

Thank you

That's because Pro Tools is not a CD burning program. Bounce to disc in PT refers to making a final mixed output from your PT session. Being you're on a Mac then you could use iTunes; I've never done that because I use a separate program that does waveform editing and cd burning (Adobe Audition).

As always - it helps to read the manual or as is titled in this case the User's Guide as that would have given you the answer as to what bounce to disc really is.

Itunes will work, but you need to make sure you check all the settings and set them to what you want, like Wav instead of MP3, Sound Enhancer and EQ off, etc.

But it would be easier to get a dedicated program for that. There are professional programs like Audition, and DSP Quattro, and there are consumer ones, like the ones listed here:

I use Toast, its a good program and you can put in all the files in the box and change titles, order, add space between them and you can even add a plug in to them for "mastering" if you wanted to.
