Default Windows drivers for digi 002/003

So we have new drivers for Mountain Lion for Digi 002/003.
DigiTechSupport when can we expect a driver update for Windows? There are some real problems with the current drivers.

thank you

Punch in/out has a distorted very unprofessional 'glitch' in the audio, like it skips. This is glitching on the playback tracks not the record tracks. The rig records fine this is a monitoring issue.
When the transport is stopped there will very often be a gap then the reverb tail will play.
Often when the transport stops/starts on a transient there will be a short burst of distortion.

See this thread http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=310286 and others going back to PT8.

I went from PT7 to PT10 and that's when this started, same gear.
I have seen it on five completely different 003 rigs.

Installed an old Echo Mia card using ASIO4all and the rig punches in/out with no problems. Please fix the Digi 002/003 drivers!!!

Since this is a USERS forum, you might have better luck submitting a request right to Avid CSA. Incidentally, running an 002 on PT 10 (just upgraded from 8.x) with NONE of these issues. A sandra report on your machine might be in order to see if there's a related issue.

Here's the Sandra from one of my rigs. I can quick punch 32 tracks at once all day long with an EQ and compressor plug on every track with a convol reverb on an aux at a buffer of 64. The rig runs fine, it's this stupid monitoring issue.

SiSoftware Sandra

I would be interested in what rig you are running. Also I am running PT10HD.

Angry Re: Windows drivers for digi 002/003

Just so you know over here in Windows land ...

The so called 'updated' drivers for the 002/3 for Mac Mountain Lion are not updated drivers at all. They are still the V9.0 versions. All that has been released is an updated installer, as the older one would install drivers in Lion but not Mountain Lion. You could install in Lion and then upgrade the OS to Mountain Lion. The new release just avoids that step.

After installing, the individual audio and midi drivers are still the V9 versions.

And MIDI is still completely non-fuctional in Mountain Lion. Even worse, the installer still installs the non-fuctioning midi drivers, which then conflict with any functioning drivers you might have for other midi gear, so they have to be removed manually in order to get any other midi drivers working again.

I'm guessing that'll be the last 'update' for the 002/3, there's been no hint of any forthcoming fixes for the problems us 002/3 users are having on the mac side of things.

So I borrowed an Mbox2 and guess what... works fine, no noise when I punch in/out, reverb tails are playing properly even at lowest buffer settings. I'm telling you the Digi 002/003 drivers need to be fixed!

That stinks. So what we need is Digi002/003 drivers version 10 for Mac and Windows please. ASAP
