Creating a brand-new blank session and importing tracks from the old session worked once for me.

FYI: when I did so, I did not import all tracks, nor did I fully troubleshoot. I left behind all video tracks, and a large number of deactivated "original OMF" tracks.

Good luck, fingers crossed.

I experienced the problem on PT9HD 9.0.3 last week.

In my experience, it's been related to dragging video and / or OMFs in from the Finder, rather than importing by using menu commands.

As posted before, I was able to rebuild a damaged session by creating a new blank one, and importing tracks from the old. I left out all the video tracks when doing so. (no idea if this helped...)

And again...

AVID, I suspect that this bug has something to do with the new i/o settings.

The strange thing is that in PT9 even if I don't choose to import the output of track, it DOES import it! As far as I remember this was not the case in the past (PT7 or even PT8). I do have to test it more but I have a impression that if I choose to import the output also, it does not crash...

Anyone?

Forget it. It just crashed again...

I give up. Saving plugin presets and taking snapshot pictures from now on. Back to old times.
