Default What's slated for 12.6?

Anyone have any idea what features may be included in the next major release? Reason I ask is I'm trying to gauge whether I should reup with my plan. Avid has been pretty mum on future plans. Last year there were a decent amount of updates, but this year it seems like avid's been running out of ideas.

Anyone that knows can't say. If you get responses, take them with a giant grain of salt.

oh no, i hope not .. Facebook Notifications coming out of the studio monitors ... can you see that .. the producer does not complain because of the sound BECAUSE it is his FB account .. and everyone else's .. so now, we are required to capture all this and Sample /Chop /Splice it into the BEATS ...

i say, eat your BEETS !! like the Beatles were not Spelled Beetles ... Beats should reverse and be BEETS .... anyone .. Bueller !!!

HAHAA ... thx for the disturbing future laugh .. !!!

Of course the real answer is to do both, they shouldn't need to be mutually exclusive.

Are you dreaming about some other hypothetical company? Or talking about the actual real capability demonstrated by Avid?

Adding new features like collaboration have likely helped to significantly destabilize Pro Tools. Beyond the collaboration stuff itself just being buggy/broken. Right now Avid is demonstrating it does not have the ability to timely fix critical bugs, let alone add more features without destabilizing things more, let alone do both.
