Digi Host based systems and Input Latency
Is there a host based Digi solution with input latency low enough to monitor through plugins? For instance a guitar through Amplitube. Im able to do this no prob w/ my Motu 828 and Cubase on a P4 2.8ghz. Seems like the Mbox is out of the question for this, but please correct me if I'm wrong on that. How about the firewire solutions? I would really like to be able to get a basic PTLE or M-Powered set-up going to get proficient on PT editing and work flow to increase my skill set, but i always run across murmurs of latency issues when i try to research host based Digi solutions. Thanks for your help, d |
