Can't play back newly recorded tracks

Hi,
I have been using an Mbox without problem for a few months.
Yesterday after I recorded a track I went to listen to it and heard nothing, even though I could see a visual wave form of the track nothing would play back.

Tried it again after rebooting PC and same thing.

Tracks previously recorded play back fine.

I am mysified . . . any ideas?

Hi,

A possible solution is to create a new PT Session then use the import session data from the corrupt song. Select copy audio option, that way it will create new files on the drive. Hopefully this may help.

turn the mix knob to playback. make sure no tracks are solo'ed, raise the volume on the master fader, plug in your headphones.

Well I did this and got the audio to play sort of. i.e. what I get played back is a highly distorted and basically unrecognisable track.
I then checked my cables to see if they were the problem when I recorded but they are fine.

I also was not peaking when I recorded this so maybe there is some kind of feedbaclk loop going on inside the Mbox or in the software?

Any ideas?

After you finish recording a track, take it off record then listen back to it. If the red record button on that track is selected it wont play the audio even if there is a waveform visable. Hope this helps... im not the best person to give instructions.

Very weird.

Today after a couple reboots it starts working again . . .
