Depends on how you look at it. For most mac only users it will half the forum monitoring as we don't have to sift through unrelated PC threads.

That's why i wrote "finally..." and some dudes called me "Mac snob". Sorry, but I don't have time to look through unrelated PC threads though I used PCs a lot in the past.

Lol. I just got my first Mac a couple of weeks ago and so far, it's great. I've been a Windows guy since the Windows 3.0 days.

It's good to have the forums split up between Windows and Mac.

As I write that I realize that the error shouldn't say LE should it? I accidentally upgraded to 10.6.5 and have 3.06 GHz Intel Core i3 with 4GB 1333 MHz DDR3 with a Rack 003. I have done all the things recommended on the PT site (cut that filter, no bluetooth, etc.) and still have the same error message. I upgraded from 7.3.1c LE (or whatever that was).
I'm thinking that you should completely remove the previous version and re- install 9.

You know, I got the 10.6.5 update too. I read on Avid's site that it hasn't been tested. I'll have PT LE in a few days, and I'm wondering if I should take my chances on installing it at this point.

I wonder if they'll move the Mac threads in the General PT9 forum here as time goes by?

No, but it would be great if they did. I've been using the 2488 hard disk recorder for the past few years.

I'm running 10.6.5 with pt9. No problems. My experience hasn't changed a bit since 10.6.4.
