ProTools 8 unable to locate my ProFire 610

I have the same problem.

PT says: "Unable to locate M-Audio hardware. Make sure your hardware is connected and turned on."

I'm following all the instructions contained in this thread but the situation is always the same.

My windows version is italian too, but where do I have to copy "profirept.dll" exactly? Now it is in C:\Programmi\Common Files\Digidesign\DAE\Devices\M-Audio folder.

my setup:
win xp sp3 italian
PT m-powered 8
m-audio profire 610 (latest driver installed)

i have the very same problem...

I have bought M-audio PT8..

I have a Danish XP version..

when running protools The program can´t find myinterface hardware..

i have been seaching for the profire.dll or what you call it..

can´t find it anywhere

C:\Programmer\Fælles filer\Digidesign\DAE\Devices\M-Audio

there is only a file called "maptusb.dll"

I really need some HELP
