VENUE 3.1.1 Software Now Available

Avid is pleased to announce the release of VENUE 3.1.1 software for D-Show®, Profile™, Mix Rack, and SC48 live sound systems. This software update delivers system improvements and critical updates for all VENUE Profile, D-Show, Mix Rack and SC48 users. VENUE 3.1.1 is a recommended update for all customers using VENUE 3.x.

VENUE 3.1.1 is available on Avid.com as a free update to all existing VENUE 3.x users (see below). Please note that VENUE 3.1.1 software does not support Avid® S3L, as this system uses a later version of VENUE software.

VENUE 3.1.1 software improvements and fixes:

• Get protection against virus propagation from infected USB keys with the auto-run disabler
• Experience better performance with fixes for control surface issues
• Auxes assigned to the SC48 Channel Control User bank now remain assigned when activating Variable Groups
• SC48 no longer becomes unresponsive when activating Variable Groups
• The behavior of Variable Groups assigned to the SC48 Channel Control User bank is now consistent
• Adjusting the Monitoring Output encoder on the SC48 no longer causes Variable Group Output 7 to adjust
