Default Venue software on MAC/Parallels

Has anybody had issues trying to install Venue software on a Mac with Parallels? I recently turned to Mavericks and since then, I haven't been able to use the software. Does anyone have instructions to share with me? Thank you!!!

why avid doesnt make mac software ?When i talk to representative, they say ; you can use bootcamp or parallel.

But if i wanted to Windows, i would buy PC.

Venue itself runs on embedded version of windows, and porting it to a Mac application would be more development time and money than Avid has deemed worthwhile.

People in hell want ice water, too.

So either do boot camp, Parallels (with 16GB of memory), or buy a cheap Windows machine and call it a day. It's like buying a microphone - if you need a specific pattern or capability, you'd make the purchase in a heart beat.

Get over the whole OS-b.s. thing. Computers are tools, not religious exercises.
