AIR Instruments, AAX Status and Upgrade Information

I have no date...but I do expect it really soon. Within 2 weeks or so, I suspect. But that's just an educated guess.

I can say with almost complete certainty that AIR will release PTIEP 2.0 with the AAX-64 this week. The reason I know this is because every major upgrade beginning with PT-11 itself has occurred while I was away from my studio. As I am out all this week until at least Sat, and most likely Sunday or Monday, and given that Waves, IK Multimedia, Blue Cat, Melodyne and some of the others we were all waiting for ALL were released when I was away, it follows that AIR should release this week as well. I mean, why should AIR's release be any different for me than any of the others? I sense a pattern here....

Since they were "showing their latest stuff" at IMSTA Festa this weekend, that would have been a good time to announce a release date.. Was anyone there?

I was not that interest in the Air instrument pack and since reading how the Company behaves, then i,m even less interested. If i,m typical then they have alienated any potential customers even further.

And while its' a Vacuum the company should really learn to STRIKE while the iron is hot.

It's most likely the STRUCTURE of the upper management causing the problems.

It also had to do with the HYBRID development team of the two companies since AVID sold it.

They just shot themselves in the foot with that Velvet Revolver.....
