2 noob questions
hey im new to pro tools and this site and i have 2 questions for now. my first is when i try to import samples to just the region bin they never seem to appear. i can send them directly to the edit window but i wouldnt prefer that.
my other is somehow i make it so when i try to grab one track it selects them all. how do i stop that from happening?

Not sure what you are doing with the samples? Import them to a new track and go from there.
As for the selction of ALL... Turn off the ALL group in the lower left side of either window. Read up on groups in the manual. Very handy stuff... Hope this helps? Doc

to answer the second question. you need to highlight just one, not all of them which they probably are.
click in the track name while holding alt and mess around with that and you'll figure it out
