Long Delay before recording starts.

Hi, I recently purchased an Mbox. Now it All works fine except for the fact that it Takes upto and longer than 30 seconds to start recording on just ONE track (time after 'pushing record' to acctually recording).

I've tried various things in Pro Tools, more and less CPU usage limit, more and less DAE buffer ect, but nothing seems to work.

My setup up is as follows:

Windows XP Pro with SP1a
1024mb 333mhz RAM
AthlonXP 3000+ 512kb L2 cache
MSI KT4 Ultra motherboard
GF4Ti graphics card
WD 80gb 7200rpm 8mb cache HDD
Pro Tools version 6.1.1

The Harddisk is partitioned and Windows and other software is installed on C: and Pro Tools and related software is on D:. I have have 2 user profiles both are administrators, one for General use and the just for Pro Tools.

Is it becuase of my single HDD or is something behind this annoying problem??

in preference, limite recording time to 10 min (ofcourse ,if u need to make music thats longer than 10 minutes then change it to... what ever u like )
