Midi Weirdness
Hi all.
I'm recording my 3rd album right now, and I've come across a problem, I've never encountered before, while trying to record midi keyboards. When trying to play a melody line, protools just bunches up the notes like a chord, as apposed to recording them as single notes across the bar?. What gives?. It's VERY irritating, and I have no clue why it's doing it, in this one particular session. All other sessions for the album are fine, it's just this one. Image below to show what I mean. They should be a sequence of notes, not all bunched up, like a chord?. It's like Protools is quantising as it records?. Any tips please?. best Pete |

Re: Midi Weirdness
Looks like input quantization is turned on.

Re: Midi Weirdness
Ah, I think I've sorted it, just incase, Whats the correct procedure for disabling it. Is it in the quantise window, and just unchecking the Input Quantize box?
