Default color bug

it's not possible to change the group color in the GROUPS window when folders are in that group. I'm not speaking of the folder color itself but of the color that is shown when you activate a group.

Yup, I confirm. If you alt-click it changes colors for all groups but I can’t change individual group colors. Annoying...

What do you mean with "GROUPS Window", the Modify Group Dialog or the Group List in the lower left of the Edit Window of the window pane?

When the Display Preferences is set to "Track follow Group Color", the Tracks adapt to the corresponding color set for that group when I toggle a specific Group on/off. This also works for Tracks that are embedded in a Folder.
Of course, the individual Tracks have to be set to "Default" with the Color Palette Inspector.

left bottom "GROUPS"

1. create a group with audio tracks only - click on it and change the color of the group with the color palette - in the mix window you will see a small colored bar above the group name

2. put those tracks in a routing folder (or with a routing folder alone) and you won't be able to change the color of the group (little line in the mix window)

Assume that all the Tracks inside a Routing Folder Track belong to the Group "All Drums"
  • In the Group List (lower-left corner), right-click on that Group "All Drums" to open its contextual menu and click "Select All Tracks in Group"
  • Now the Nameplate of all Tracks inside the Routing Folder are highlighted
  • Open the Color Palette Inspector (or it was already open and you will see that its selector in the upper-left corner changes to Group and the color swatch of the current Group Color is selected
  • Click on any other color swatch in the Color Palette Inspector and it will change the assigned color for the Group "All Drums", as you can see on the color strip of those Tracks above their Group selector that has changed to that color

It works here as expected
