Default wave driver on a fujitsu

anyone can suggest a way of setting wave driver buffer size at (let us say) 1028 samples and see it does not revert back to 128 samples each time you reboot.

i am using a fujitsu lifebook with the mbox, and do location recording. for things like that i prefer something simple, like cool edit, rather than launch a protools session, which is why the wave driver is important.

any general suggestions on optimising wave driver would be very welcome.
