Default Xeon X5650 vs x5680 for Pro Tools

Hi!

I'm wondering if it worth use two Xeons x5680 on a Mac Pro 2009, or is better to keep the low power and potentially les noisy system with Xeons X5650?

I'm working on feature film post-production as well as short films and small video productions, sound design, dialogue editing, re-recording mixing. Not much virtual instruments, foley, libraries, and plug-ins.

Most important:
1. Reliable and rock solid stable system (I don't mind to spend 2 minutes more bouncing)
2. Smooth Pro Tools operation.
3. Keep the system the most silent possible.

For what I can see the X5650s run with fans at around 1320 rpm, now with X5680s they are around 1850rpm all other fans at minimum, CPUs temp are around 5 degree Celsius more with X5680s.

Thank you!

Thanks! Will close this thread as I'll keep X5680s with a very good temps measure and good overall noise at moderate load.
