mic cable rings?

I always see big, touring bands with little colored flat rings around their mic cables, up near the end of the cable by the mic for identification. I need some of those! Does anyone know who makes them?

Colored electrical tape is fast and easy(and cheap) too. I have always color-coded mic cables for length(habit from having several dozen of every length available....ah, the good ol' days).

Switchcraft has colored boots that you can use to replace the black ones on their XLR connectors.

Wow, that was stupid of me not to think of! Now that you mention it, what I've seen other bands do MUST be electrical tape. It's a few inches away from the female mic end -- sometimes striped (two or three strips taped around with a space between them.) I'm thinking that they're doing what you're talking about -- the color could designate which mic is which, and the number of strips refers to the length?
