Loop Selection - Not working. Help?

Hey All - I have activated/turned on "Loop Selection" which I understand you do by right-clicking the play button and then selecting "loop" (now green play button in the transport has the little loop graphic under the triangle). I have definitely made a selection in my edit window to work and it's not responding. Any ideas? Looked all over the place, in PT and in forums, and am lost at this point. Sure it's probably a really simple fix. Thanks!!!

how long is your selection. there is a minimum length cant remember off the top of my head what it is. when you say not responding are you able to play the selection once?

Yeah it's playing normally, it just doesn't loop the selection. The selection is pretty small - like half a second - but I've gotten Pro Tools to loop tiny tiny segments before with no problemo.

Update: So region Loop is working/on but not SELECTION looping. What am I missing? Thank you!
