Hi!

I just got my new digi 002R (I'm in Australia) and it shipped with LE 6.9.2. I'm going to buy one of the new iMac G5's (1.9 17") on the weekend and am wondering whether it will be compatible - your post states they are only supported for 7.0. If that model is supported for 7.0 does it mean it's also supported for 6.9.2?

thanks for any help!!

PTLE 6.9.2 + MBox (original) works fine on my new iMac (2.1 GHz G5).

Not sure whether there would be any significant difference for 002, but it's likely you'll be fine. There don't appear to be issues moving from earlier revs of iMac to latest, even if Digi isn't testing every previous model with new software or every new model with old software (not unreasonable).

My oh my...

Qualified--Compatable...Does anyone actually listen to that #%^%^&* Ridiculous banter?

How many qualified compatibles Don't work???

I have a 1.2 dual giga upgrade in my old 733 digital audio, with 2 Maxtor 1 touch 16MB buffer FW drives, and I just got 4 more stereo reverbs open, ( just by testing---Of course I would never use this in an actual session). Actually I only got 10 stereo dVerbs, in 10 stereo tracks to record indefinitly, and now with PTLE 7 and 10.4.2 (I was told not to use 10.4.3 (qualified), I get 14 stereo dVrbs to record... YOU ?????

NOT Qualified!!!!!!!!! Harrrr!!!!!!!!!!

Apparently PT LE 7 works fine on said PB model. I have the same computer and i don't really feel like paying for PT LE 7. Heck, 6.9.2 was working fine on my old PB. Let there be a fix from DigiDesign!
