Default Importing Quicktime movie into PT 2020.5

Just a bit of a warning and maybe this is only on my system. I know Quicktime is no longer supported for exporting to QuickTime, but when importing a MP4 video downloaded from vimeo and this has happened several times now, the video imports and plays no issue infact its better than it was in 2019 much smoother not dropping frames, but you do get an error "quicktime not supported etc" when you do the import. The audio does not import from the video when the checkbox is checked which is odd as the video does, so I export the AAC audio from the video to a wav file in FCPX then import it back into the session. It looks good wav forms are there, then I hit play and I get full on white noise blast. Then close and reopen the session and all is fine the track now plays normally and it never happens again in the session.
Just thought I would share my experience in hopes of saving someones ears and or speakers. I am running Catalina 10.15.5 on my Mac Pro 5,1 with opencore. Other than this one bug things have been pretty solid.
