Using external effect

Hello,
I would like to ask, I need to use the LE and digi 002 like this :
1. input -> digi 002 -> protools LE (record)
2. LE (recorded wave) -> digi 002 output -> effect -> digi 002 input -> LE

so the second step is to play the wav and also record the wav after sent it to the effect.

my question is, is it possible? how ?

Check out the section called "Hardware Inserts" on page 446 of the Pro Tools Reference guide (available from the help menu or as a free download).

Once you have the hardware insert working, and inserted on the track you want effected, Send or bus the output of that track to another track for recording.
