I have a strange problem. When i play my guitar inside ProTools (8.05 inside OSX Lion), i can hear it until i press the record or play button. After that i can only hear the other tracks (of course the 11R track is enabled for recording).
Anyone have an idea why this happens and how to solve it?

Track>Auto Input Monitoring/Input Only Monitoring

Crack open the Pro Tools Reference manual PDF and read what these do.
