In future it would help if you actually read the “help us help you” link and follow the instructions to post the proper Sandra report. Like the thousands of others posted on DUC that you can look at to see.

But on interfaces.... so you have a crappy audio interface, do you also have a “proper” audio interface with native ASIO driver? Are you planning on recording audio? who knows if you have ASIO4ALL configured properly or not or wether you could be using the WASAPI driver. ... you could be doing things like posting screenshots of the playback engine dialing (and listing all choices in the pull down)!and ASIO driver configuration page etc. but right now I cannot even tell where you are at with the problem and it’s taken this long to get a fraction of a normal Sandra report...

FWIW the following works for me. uninstall ASIO4ALL then see if Pro Tools starts.
If it startup properly quit Pro Tools and reinstall ASIO4ALL
Reboot your Computer (important)
Open Pro Tools holding the N key.
In settings open the Playback option and select ASIO4ALL. Set the hardware buffer size.
If this works then you should be able to open Pro Tools normally. In my case all subsequent Pro Tools and MC update installs broke Pro Tools startup again.

So? What do you want anybody here to do?

The thread you are posting to has some information on how to address these issues. If you want actual help from folks you need to take the time and explain your system and what interface you are trying to use and what troubleshooting you have done.

Hi all, problem solved.
seems a new kid on the block, today.

Anyway, starting with N key to see what's changed on audio configuration.
I switched from ProTools Aggregate to Pre-Sonus driver and it worked again.
I didn't know what's up. Yesterday evening I was the latest to use and I'm the first this morning on that machine.

The other DAW (HDX) is fine.

You can delete the aggreagate device (if you never use it) in audio MIDI setup to reduce this happening in future.

standard behavior of Pro Tools.... you have to check/start with N to be sure.
