Corrupted Fonts
I recently installed protools free on my HP Vectra, which is a pentium III 500mhz 192 ram etc etc. Anyway, the text on all the protools buttons in all the windows is completely corrupted and unreadable, not just tiny. It does not happen on the drop down menus though or any other windows based menu... other than this the program run perfectly... ive tried rinstalling many times, and played with every display setting, it is indeed a protools problem, as this does not happen in any other apps...
help please.... and.e ps. if you reply with any suggestions could you also send a copy to [email protected] thanx |

Re: Corrupted Fonts
I solved my own problem, and figured id let evryone else know how to fix it...
my ttfcache file in my windows directory was corrupted, prottols was just asking for a font no other program uses... to fix, just go to c:\windows\ttfcache and delete the file, do not move it. and then reboot. protools was right as rain after that. Quote:
