Default Any change with NI-Leopard-Pro Tools?

I have been wanting and waiting to upgrade my MacG4 to a new MacPro. Now even more since the announcement of Pro Tool 8! But what has keep me from doing that is the incompatibility of NI's Kontact and Battery with Leopard and Pro Tools.
After reading NI's website and Digi's it looks like it is still the case.

Is it still true? If it is, is there any hope? has anyone had any success?

I'm still waiting on this one too, however I can tell you that Kontakt runs pretty well, Battery is a lot more buggy but also useable. The key is to use only 1 CPU in PT's playback engine. I'm also able to use Akoustik Piano with pretty good results with the same 1 CPU setting.

I posted a thread about this on NI's forum earlier, hoping someone at AES can ask the NI booth about this, but so far no replies.
