Need interface help!!
Ok guys.. here's what I have:
Windows 7 64-bit Pro Tools HD3 9 96 I/O + 8 Channels ADAT I need like.. 20 channels for a show coming up to record.. and I only have 16.. Short of buying another Digi interface.. what are my possible options to add to what I already have? I know I'm maxed out on the 96 I/O.. but doesn't PT 9 let you use third party interfaces? How reliable/stable is this? Or should I just go out and buy another interface?

Cheapest way to expand might be to acquire an 888/24 to run off of the legacy port on the 96 i/o.

I considered that.. but I think maybe taking advantage of the 3rd party ability would be nice..
Has anyone done this?
