Is this issue resolved in 2.8.2?

No, we're still working to identify what could be causing the problem and didn't want to delay the release of 2.8.2 indefinitely while this work continued.

For those of you who have encountered this problem, it would help if you can confirm that the problems began with v2.8.1. If at all possible, revert back to version 2.7 and try the same procedures that cause the interruptions, and see if the outcome is the same or different. Please report back here.

Wanted to pass this on. Lost right side of 2 PQ outs during rehearsal. Plug ins on both are Bomb Factory BF2A, EQ III and Phoenix. Rebooted console and all was cool.

I'm certain our troubles are new in 2.8.1. One of my guys makes lots of plug-in changes, moving them around or swapping in and out and we've never seen this behavior before the upgrade.
