I purchased PT 10 student version last year. About 2 months ago I received an email from avid about the free upgrade to 11. You have to give up your old protools 10 asset but the new Protools 11 asset comes with the protools 10 asset also. I am no longer in school but it gave it to me anyway. Student versions get 4 free years of upgrades no matter the version. 9 to 10, 10 to 11

Hey, I'm in the same boat as some of these members.

I Purchased Protools 10 academic addition a year ago, and I'm waiting on information to upgrade to 11.

I tried emailing Avid support but have been waiting months on a reply.

My avid "Your Products" states my ProTools 9 for students license was activated 01/31/11 and I did receive a no charge upgrade for ProTools 10 10/22/11, I did not receive any e-mail for 11 and also my e-mail since has been changed, am I still eligible for a no charge upgrade to 11?

What should we do, if you used your school email to setup your Avid account...and you transferred schools?

I believe I probably did receive an upgrade email...but I have no way of retrieving the email, and the Avid website refuses to let me update my current email address.

Any help would be "much appreciated"!
