Default Time type mismatch occurred...?

I'm hoping I can recover this project.
I keep getting this error:
Time type mismatch occured in "/Volumes/Development/vb_cliff/AlturaPorts/PT4_App/MacBuild/../../NewFileLibs/Time/Time_Typed.h" Line 184

What in the world does this mean?
Then when I click OK I get This:
Could not complete the Open Recent Session 1 command because Assertion in "/Volumes/Development/vb_cliff/AlturaPorts/PT4_App/MacOS_Specific/MacBuild/../../Main/ProTools.cpp", Line 1551.

It just won't let me open the project.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Guy

I believe I had problems like this when I had a really long folder title as part of the path to the file. You might try that...

Oddly .. I just had this same error message today when trying to boot a file I had archived a couple years ago. I ended up using the import data function to load the tracks from the f**ked file into a new one. Seemed to do the job. Good luck. The last few times I emailed Digi re: tech issues, they didn't deem me worthy of a reply.

I'll try renaming the file first and if that doesn't work I'll have to do an import audio and midi.
I can't import session data either from that project. I get the same error messages.

I hope I don't have to import audio and midi because it's a huge project with alot of takes.
Funny thing is I worked in this project all last week and had no problems and now it just won't open. Doesn't make sence.

I won't be able to do this now till I get back from a South America Trip.
If anyone else has a suggestion, I'm open.

EDIT: BTW...I did update to Mac OS 10.4.10 2 weeks ago, but I wouldn't think that would have anything to do with this. I've not had any other problems with other projects.
The project is named: Come On Ring Those Bells.ptf (Just as I typed it).

Thanks,

Guy
