Playback interrupts when clicking on edit window.

Hi to all. Long time since I've been here.

I just reinstalled PT 7.4 and during playback of audio, whenever I click on the edit window the playback interrupts. Just clicking or selecting any area on any track makes the playback to stop and continue, like hickups. And something wierd too, the drawing of the regions seem to move or change a little bit... just by clicking!!!

This is very annoying when editing because I, very often, edit silent areas of a region, or wrong takes, while in playback.

I suspect that this could be a disk configuration issue but I check and everything seems to be fine.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Here is my system.

Intel Quad 6600 2.4GHz
Asus P5Q3
4 GB Kingston Value Ram 1066 DDR3

Maxtor system drive
Samsung samples drive
Western Audio Drive

What kind of video card?

Ati video card. I think it´s a 512 MB.

As i said I did a reinstall of win XP SP3 and PT 7.4. Before the reinstall with the same system I did not have this this problem.

Is Dynamic Transport on?

Dynamic transport was ON, I disabled it and guess what? PROBLEM SOLVED!!!
