elastic audio crashes PT 10.3.8 / OSX 10.8.5

having several crashes when using elastic audio quantize.... anybody else?

This is a constant never ending problem for me! It's so bad that I try not to use it, especially in front of a client!

same PT version and OS? it didn't happen this bad before...

All versions of 10 have been problematic for me. Sometimes uninstalling and then reinstalling ProTools makes it better for a while.

Just lost a bunch of progress because of this crash..I was in Monophonic and my first attempt to slide a piece of audio locked up my machine. I am on Windows 7 64. I NEVER use elastic audio in front of people. It is embarrassing..It has been a train wreck on every version of PT10. Now we are at 10.3.8... SMH. So the question is, why did they go ahead and release PT11 when PT10 gives MANY MANY people issues?!!!!

happens with OSX 10.7.5 also ... it crashes constantly in Monophonic mode

+1 on 10.7.5 in monophonic mode… after a few edits it crashes

wow... very weird... i've been using elastic audio past two weeks like clockwork n' not a single issue, win 7 64bit, pro tools HD 10.2 'cause i'm too scared to upgrade... lol

Its gotten a bit wonky for me as well. Now i always up the buffer to 1024 and hit SAVE constantly Re. using it in front of clients, there is one simple rule that every engineer MUST follow. If you have a crash, act like its no big deal(with Auto-Save set to 2 minutes, it rarely IS a big deal). As long as the engineer acts confident and relaxed, a computer crash is no worse than a spilled drink
