Help with monitoring/metering issue
Today when I was tracking even though nothing in the chain (meter wise) showed clipping I was hearing clipping through the monitors. The mic pre showed a good signal but no clip, the A/D showed good and no cliping, the 192 and PT mix window showed good signal and no clipping but when I would push it a little bit harder it would distort REALLY bad. I would get in the yellow but never in the red and no clip lights anywhere.
Any ideas?
