I didn't see this as part of what you've tried, but you may have done this already - trash your PT prefs, that fixes a lot of issues at times.

Always a good suggestion. Thanks! That's usually my first course of action with PT issues. Doesn't seem to fix the 003 problem though. My new FW card is arriving today. I'm hoping that will do the trick.

Thanks to everyone for chiming in, and especially Steve for suggesting the FW card. I installed the card the card you recommended over the weekend and finally had a chance to test it out today -- works GREAT! THANK YOU!
