Default 5.1 Speaker management

Hey Everyone,
So I have a near field stereo and large format 5.1 monitoring system in my studio. For the mains my signal flow is as follows. Apollo 16 >Xmon Main Imput > main out > 1 L, 3 C, R 5, Ls 6, Rs 7, LFE 8 >amps>Speakers. This works great for anything in 5.1 but when i play something in stereo on the mains in thins configuration obviously the sub is left out. I want to be able to switch the mains to (stereo with sub) or 5.1. We did this with the myers sound galileo's at a studio i use to work at. I guess im looking for something similar but with a much lower price tag. what do you guys recommend? any gear or creative ideas welcome!

What is your sub and does it have bass management? For instance, if it is one of the Genelec subs with bass management, you could run your L and R signals through the sub (while LFE still goes to the dedicated input) and then the L and R are HPF from the sub and sent to the L and R speakers.

Otherwise, everything is going to cost you as you need bass management after the XMon and before the speakers. There are a lot of boxes that will do this but good ones cost and it depends if your sub has two inputs (at least) that separates LFE input (since that needs a +10 in-band gain)
