Default L1 dsp hog problem

What am I missing here?

PT's 24 Mix/Mac 9600/192 mb ram

I insert an L1 no problem, do a mix, save, close session. Re-open session, tells me my DAE is max'd even if there are no other plug-in's active. If I quit PT's, re-boot Mac the problem goes away.

DSP Manager does not accurately measure how much DSP Waveshell takes up. It thinks that there is room for more plugins when there isn't. Reopening and reshuffling plugins causes this to be problematic, for some reason. It's a real pain. Basically, don't overfill up your DSP with Waves if you can help it. (ie. if your sessions takes 30-45 mins. to load like mine do, you are close to filling them up...)
