Default MP3 file "cannot be imported because quicktime is not installed"

Hello everyone,

Wondering if someone can help. I have Pro tools 11 installed on my computer. I installed quicktime and when I try to open Pro tools it tells me that there is a problem and it can't open pro tools. Anyone have any suggestions of what I can do? Thanks

Did you install Quicktime AND I-tunes? (Even if you don't plan on using I-tunes?)
