I already bought the Pro Limiter a while ago and have owned Rivibe for several years, as well. It looks to me like it's a lot cheaper for me to just buy whatever other "Pro" plugins I might be interested in and just blow off the subscription.

This is just unbelievable.... AVID, we, hdx users are extremely frustrated. Can't really understand what's going on over there. It's almost disrespectful what you are doing to us. You do have to try it better to convince me to ride your PT 12 boat. That is just not enought.

Fidelis,

Just wait until you want to install some PT 12 HD bug fixes that you cannot download without upgrading to PT 13 HD. Then you will be experiencing the full joy that the PT 11 HD users are becoming acquainted, with the PT 11.3.2 update.

It just beggars belief. No wonder Tim looked a little uncomfortable during the webinar, he's the one now holding the baby!
Same thoughts here too Nigel.

Well said.

Sorry if this has been mentioned already, but i find it extremely frustrating and disingenuous that they repeatedly suggested that the IdeaScale is the place to go so the developers can see what users want.

Looking now, there a total of ZERO ideas "in review", and one idea "in progress". The single idea in progress is to fix a bug added with 12.2!

I really would be a fan of the subscription model if that meant a responsive and communicative Avid issuing quick bug fixes and adding workflow enhancements frequently, but I see no evidence for this whatsoever.

We are told of the countless, too many to list, stability enhancements that were implemented in 12.2. Yet I'm finding 12.2 LESS stable than 12.1, and see no evidence for any improvement in that regard.

If they really existed I'm pretty sure avid would have listed all these bug fixes?

I don't need more plugins!! Neither do most HD owners I'd be willing to bet. I need stability improvements and workflow enhancements. And then some nice new features.

How about starting with some from the ideascale top 25?

http://www.pro-tools-expert.com/home...pear-in-p.html

I concede that for non-HD users this was a great update! If I wasn't reliant on the advanced automation features I would be looking into downgrading at this point.

Man, just looking at that list makes me salivate at the thought of their implementation. How hard could it be? Apparently harder than I thought.

Of course, what'll happen will be, they'll finally incorporate them, along with a humongous price hike.

Or not, because everything is covered by the support plan.
