I checked and both laptops are normal. Just for grins yesterday I tried to get the "messed up fat fuzzy" edit window to come back and it wont. So I have no idea what was going on there-if I was to guess it was something in PT preference file that wasn't jibing with the new monitors. PT sure can be weird

Hey guys, after update to 10.13.6 my HD native is not being recognized... I've uninstalled and reinstalled hardware and nothing is working...
Would love some insight...
Seems to be related to gatekeeper... I've disabled it, restarted, the reinstalled, restarted, and allow button just sits there... Nothing happens when I click it... (yes- I've unlocked the lock...)

You tried reinstalling drivers?

“Not being recognized”... exactly what do you mean? What devices shows up in audio Midi settings? In playback engines?

You got security warnings in Systems Preferences/Privacy & Security you need to take care of?

In-situ macOS upgrades are always a bit more risky than clean installs, hopefully you did not do that.
