Default Please help!!! 9600 won\'t start!

Yesterday I was installing some new ram in my 9600, and when I tried to power it up, it wouldn't start up at all...even after I uninstalled the ram, same thing. Does anyone have any suggestions? Is there a fuse or breaker I should know about? Thanks!

If it doesn't do anything at all, even when pushing the green button on the front... no noise, green light, click, nothing, it's probably the power supply. If it starts but you have a black screen, try the pram (option/apple/p/r while booting), restart a few times with ctrl/apple/start button, reset the cuda with the little red button inside the CPU

It doesn't do anything at all, as opposed to coming on and giving me a black screen. I tried unplugging it, and that didn't do anything...where is the little red button located? Thanks!

Reset the mother board..

Theres a little silver button near the power supply on the MB

unplug the machine , hold down the button for 30 sec.

this will flush all your system wide settings, so make sure you reset all system setting when it comes back up

ie... Memeory Control Panels...

hope this helps

Make sure all the cards are seated and have not come loose.. Check the processor card and the ram by pushing them down.. Also try removing and reseating them.. Be careful not to touch the conductive areas or components and discharge your body "Static Electricity" before touching the cards. You may also try reseating any connectors and check the power cord in the back of the computer.. I know some one last week that ran into the last that one, the plug was in but not seated.

Seems obvious, but check the power chord. Is it plugged into the computer all the way? Is there power coming from the wall? Sorry to state the obvious, but this has got me before.

I couldn't find a silver button, but I did find a little red one next to the processor, and after holding it down for thirty seconds with the computer unplugged, I'm up and running. Thanks again for the help everyone!

Now, if I could figure out how to get this second scsi drive to work.....
