Default Older version blocking install

Hi guys, Have had a 2018 version of pro tools first on my computer and decided to upgrade to the 2019 version. First install was blocked by "older version" which I uninstalled. tried again same issue "older version". Purged registry of all pro tools and avid files but to no avail. Restarted PC, emptied recycle bin can't think of anything else to try. Can't find any discussions on this issue. Of course now I don't have any DAW on my computer and can't get it back. Where to frominstall error.PNG here? Have uploaded dialogue box

At this point, I would try backing up your computer first and then do a clean install by formatting the drive, installing the operating system, and installing Protools. It is the best way to ensure no trace of an older version exists,

Not sure this will work, but its worth a try;
Right-click on Start>select Apps and Features(top of list). In the next window, select Programs and Features(upper right). Once the list is done loading, scroll down and look for Avid HD Driver. If you find it, uninstall it(it makes the installer think there is still an older version of PT installed).

Whenever you uninstall Pro Tools, always uninstall the HD driver if that option is available.
