Default Using Carbon with Avid Sync HD?

Hi
I have bought Carbon, great sounding and everything looks great.
the only issue I have now is using sync HD with protools to lower the tune and speed, I was using that sometime with singers and back vocal when they want to reach a high tone easier.
I'm using now varispeed to do that however it's easier via HD sync.
Is there anyway to use the HD sync with Carbon the same way it's been used with HDX/HDN to lower the speed/tune for the session?

Regards,
Ali

Not possible unfortunately. The SYNC cannot be connected to Carbon (no DigiSerial port) and, whilst it can be used as a standalone device, the Variable Speed Offset is not accessible from the front panel (see page 35 of the manual).
