Default External drive options for beige G3?

I contacted Seagate about getting a second external drive for my ProTools setup, and was told they no longer make drives that are compatible with my Mac. They recommended a PCI SCSI upgrade, but I've already filled all the slots. What are some other options? Buying a used drive?
