Waves G or E SSL channel
Hi guys
I’ve never used a real SSL so wouldn’t know the difference from that way, but what are the differences between the 2. I automatically always just reach for the E Channel when mixing, but just wondered if I’m missing anything nice from the G Channel Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Waves G or E SSL channel
That link is an interesting read. To think that only 2 of the first SSL consoles were sold, and still the company survived is interesting. They must have been quite expensive back in 1975.

Re: Waves G or E SSL channel
I was wondering the same a few months ago, after reading the article I was ready to buy the G channel but after this audio comparison I ended up buying the E Channel

Re: Waves G or E SSL channel
My pleasure. As mentioned, I don't use these now, but I used the E-Channel in the TDM world. An interesting read nonetheless, me thinks.
