Project Mix I/O...
Is anyone successfully running PT 2018 on Windows 10 with a Project Mix I/O?
A friend is stuck in Apple Catch 22 update land; he wants to update his OS so he can use PT 2018.4 HD, but there are no drivers for any new OS X as Apple gave up on FireWire several years ago. He can't afford a new computer and interface - struggling audio engineer. The M-Audio forum has a few people doing so successfully with Windows 10 and PT 12 using the Windows 7 drivers, but wanted to check here too. TIA

What Mac Bruce ?? They all have Thunderbolt ports since about...2011 ??
Wouldn't a TB > FW adapter work ??

I haven't been in touch with him recently, so can't answer that. I believe it has to do with FireWire drivers and the OS X version he needs to run PT 2018, so I have to assume he doesn't have any TB ports to use or he needs a driver even though he has a TB port to use. He did mention he found someone on the web who claims to have written new drivers for the Project Mix.
